| Kelly Liken of Restaurant Kelly Liken, Vail, CO. Chef Kelly Liken has made a huge name for herself in Vail, Colorado. Critics say “If there’s an “it” chef in Vail right now, it’s Kelly Liken, and her swanky and intimate restaurant is the “it” place. She describes her fare as ‘seasonal American cuisine that relies heavily on locally produced and cultivated products.’ We call it food heaven.” Chef Liken was formally trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Graduating first in her class, Kelly went on to work at The Inn at Little Washington before joining the kitchen staff of Splendido at the Chateau, located in Beaver Creek, CO. Chef Liken opened her restaurant in Vail in 2004 and has earned rave reviews, including accolades from the James Beard Foundation, ever since. Click here to view Chef Liken's menu. |

| Featuring Chef Maegen Loring, Park Restaurant, San Luis Obispo
Maegen’s far reaching travels have influenced her dishes at The Park Restaurant, but it is thrilling to find that she doesn’t follow any one cuisine. Her dishes burst with the joys and flavors of many different cultures, yet with a refinement that Maegen can claim all her own. At The Park, Maegen seeks out the highest quality of ingredients and the bounty of the Central Coast affords her just that. She has developed strong ties with local organic farmers, artisan cheese makers, winemakers and bread bakers. The menu decisions that Maegen makes are determined by the seasons. She loves to cook within the challenges of produce availability or pairing food with wine. Her innate sense of taste guides her winery dinner menus as well. “If you close your eyes when you taste the wine, it will tell you where to go with the food,” she notes. This promises to be a spectacular dinner at Eberle Winery during Harvest Fest!
