Prosciutto-Wrapped Gorgonzola Figs

Prosciutto-Wrapped Gorgonzola Figs

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 large figs
  • 8 teaspoons gorgonzola dolce or other blue cheese
  • 8 slices prosciutto or other thinly sliced cured meats

RECIPE OVERVIEW

This is one of Gary Eberles favorite fall snacks! His fig tree provides plenty of delicious figs that he shares with the staff. The sweet figs stuffed with creamy and tangy gorgonzola, wrapped in salty prosciutto, and baked until the gorgonzola starts to melt and the edges of the prosciutto get nice and crispy. It pairs perfectly with a bottle of Eberle Barbera!
